Bio

Donatella de Vita, graduated in Philosophy at the Università degli Studi di Milano; she subsequently obtained a specialization in Work Psychology at the Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, Milan. She then began a two-year course in Psychoanalysis ARIELE.

She initially worked in the area of training and development in Gruppo La Rinascente, where she carried out an international role followed by an experience in Bank of America and Banca D’Italia (Deutsche Bank Group) as head of Management Training Retail.

She then became part of Gruppo Pirelli where she managed international training projects, internal communication and management development. She has also held several roles as a function manager and HR Manager of various Business Units of the Group.

Since 2011, she has been the global head of Corporate Learning, Engagement and Welfare and in 2018 she also became responsible for Development.

Not only has Donatella written about and contributed to books on training and development, but she has also been involved in supervising and tutoring university thesis at the faculty of Educational Research at Bicocca.  Since 2015, she has been a faculty member of EFMD with head offices in Brussels where she carries out the role of EQUIS – EPAS accreditation officer at the International Business School.
